Before angel investing, Jed was a tech operator inside venture-backed startups, playing a key role in building the world's largest APi marketplace at an Andreessen Horowitz-backed company. That dual lens — operator and investor - shapes how he evaluates founders today.
In 2021, Jed launched his own syndicate on a simple premise: build the world's most scalable angel syndicate. He grew it single-handedly to over 1,500 limited partners globally, putting it in the top decile of investor networks by scale and capital deployed.
That journey revealed a gap - most venture investors never get real training. So Jed founded AngelSchool.vc to help investors source better dealflow, evaluate startups with discipline, and invest with the insight of a global community. The program has since trained over 400 investors and spun up more than 20 syndicates across 40+ countries.
